George A. Bruschi
George Anthony Bruschi, 86 of Mesa, AZ. Born in San Francisco and formerly of Oroville CA. Passed away on December 19, 2020.
George is preceded in death by Arlene Bruschi his wife of 37 years and the mother of his children. Also preceded in death was his infant daughter Georgia, his mother and father Mario and Isabel Bruschi, and his brother Robert Bruschi.
George leaves behind his wife Patricia, his four daughters Laura (Tim) Giordano, Marie Giordano, Cynthia Bruschi, and Nina Bruschi along with two sons, Tony (Denise) Bruschi and John Bruschi. He also leaves behind his grandchildren Paul, Adam, Nathan, and Micheal Giordano, Peter, Mathew, and James Giordano, Mitchell Mares, Chelsey and Jesse Guiterrez, Dylan and Reece Bruschi, along with seven great grandchildren.
George served in the United States Navy on the USS Muliany Destroyer as a Torpedoman’s Mate. During his life he had been a Police Officer in Stanford, Ca. He had worked for the Stanford Fire Department and was on their bomb squad. He was also employed at the Bay Area Quality Control District from which he retired.
He was a hard worker with many misc. jobs, but his children say that his best job was being a good man, father, and husband. He loved his children.
He will be remembered by his family for the camping trips with his children in early years, the fishing trips he loved and the adventure of travel in his later years. He was an interesting man who will be greatly missed.
A graveside service will be on Feb. 12 at 1:00 pm at the Memorial Park Cemetery.
